How I discovered Bladder Cancer – And Survived
As I found out she had bladder cancer and has survived two friends from my fishing boat, a man and his girlfriend, we took a good part of the day. My male friend had enough and decided he wanted to land, but his girlfriend was an avid fisherman (Fisher Lady) and she wanted to go fishing, so I decided to remove it again. We were anchored in a bay and not by a shoreline easily accessible.
I had to urinate and usually with the boys on the boat so we were out of the stern of the boat, but I did not want to bring my embarrassment of the lady customers who have waited so long, I could no longer produced. I apologized and went to the stern of the boat to urinate.
When I began to urinate, it seemed that I was urinating a wine Merlot, my urine comes out of pure blood, and soon I could not even urinate. I mentioned to my host the problem I had. As it turned out my host was a nurse and the coroner in his hometown.
She immediately went into action and began hauling the anchor and called me back to the engine and start the head on the dock. Because of the way she called her boyfriend and told him to meet us at the pier. Arrival at the pier, which immediately took me into the emergency room near the hospital.
I spent a half hour filling out paper work and explain my problem was then told to go in the waiting room. After being what seemed an eternity, I had the feeling to urinate. I entered the men’s room, and I was able to urinate, he started as the blood, but eventually cleared up and normal again.
I thanked my friends and I told them everything seemed to have been resolved, and I went home. I called my doctor friend and told me that I will probably wait a while urinating ‘blood vessel burst too long. I called my local doctor and he said that probably had an infection in my bladder.
I never felt any pain, discomfort or an inability to urinate first I thought it was a small problem. I continued to urinate normally for the next month or so and then suddenly I started urinating blood. This time I called my local doctor and told him I wanted a urologist.
The urologist was well-equipped facility, and has had all the usual tests of its conclusion, I had cancer in my bladder the size of a dollar and a half, but apparently was not much that could not go just scraped. The urologist had an operating unit of plants, so I immediately scratched my bladder.
The scratch has not been successful since it was established that cancer is not a grade two, which would be the scratching, but the degree three, which meant the cancer penetrated deeper into the fabric should have. The doctor said that I had four options, chemotherapy and radiology, which he did not think that would be my chance of survival is improved.
The shares have been a little more than 50% that would not work. The other two options were to remove the bladder and the further development of part of my intestines, he said, if it works, it would be nice if it would be a struggle for the rest of my life. The second would be to remove my bladder and surrounding tissues including the prostate and nearby lymph nodes.
This procedure requires that I use an external bladder to replace my original. I chose the latter, and I regret to date (five years later). It ‘a little’ annoying, but in a sense is useful. What surprised me most, that there are no signs or symptoms, I had this problem and if not urinate, when I no longer live blood. I think I can only say in conclusion is that these things do not happen only to the other guy, you’re a target. So be aware.
